The 2024 Hyundai Kona is a significant improvement over the previous-generation model. Sporting a radically styled exterior, it boasts a roomy interior and comfortable ride, although the pre-production models we drove had lackluster handling and cheap-feeling interiors.
The Kona is initially available with two gasoline engines, a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder. An EV version with two different battery size options will be available later.
